1986 Purchase of track and wagons from Frank Pearn's pump works, Manchester
Purchase of Lister loco 50191, skip wagon and 2 kiln car chassis from Yaxham Light Railway, Norfolk
1987 120' "L"-shaped line constructed at Fishergreen, Ripon - 14lb/yd rail screwed to 8" x 3" x 3'8" wooden sleepers and laid on 3/4" gravel
1988 Purchase of track forming main line of railway at North Bierley Sewage Treatment Works, Bradford, from Yorkshire Water - consisting of 18' lengths of 20lb/yd rail and 26' lengths of 25lb/yd rail
1989 Purchase of MotorRail loco serial no. 40S280 from British Coal, Kiveton Park Colliery
Purchase of 7 wagons, 2 "Easi-turnout" portable turntables and fifteen lengths of "Jubilee" track, from Yorkshire Water, Fulford Sewage Pumping Station, York
Purchase of 1 skip wagon chassis and one 8' length of "Jubilee" track (14lb/yd rail) from Yorkshire Water, Thornton Moor Reservoir, Haworth,  
Purchase of 4 sets of points, 3 wagon turntables, 3 skip wagon chassis, several spare axlesets from Yorkshire Water, Old Whittington Sewage Treatment Works, Chesterfield
1990-2012 Construction of permanent railway using 20lb/yd rail spiked to 1/2 or 1/4 standard gauge wooden sleepers ballasted with 40mm limestone (CLICK IMAGE TO ENLARGE)
1991 Purchase of eighteen 4w bolster wagons from demolition contractors at site of Octavius Atkinson's structural steelworks, Starbeck, Harrogate
Purchase of 2 Hudson flat wagons from Aire Valley Railway project, Leeds
Purchase of 2 kiln cars and 1 flat wagon, and 2 point levers from Rick Stewart (ex Chemical and Insulating Co., Darlington) 
1997 Purchase of jim-crow, p-way crowbar, re-railing ramps and track spikes from the widow of John Craven, from John's 3' gauge railway at Walesby, Nottinghamshire
1998 Extension into commercial yard and loco shed branch completed
1999 Workshop branch linked to main line
2000 Engine shed completed
Purchase of Lister loco serial no. 7954 from Brian Gent
2001 Track purchased from Newby Hall Estate, Bishop Monkton RE bridge site
2002 Railway filmed by PM Video for their title "Great little trains of Yorkshire"
2005 Construction of deviation to avoid sharp curve round chestnut tree.
Donation of a copy casting - made at Amberley Industrial Museum foundry by Gordon Hatherill - of the original works plate of Lister no. 7954
2006 Completion of canalside "wharf"
2007 Completion of siding alongside engine shed
Purchase of ten-seat bogie coach from Yaxham Light Railway
2008 Purchase of two sets points, rail, spikes, petrol pump, galvanized tank and Greenbat electric truck from the estate of Terry Stanhope
2009 Extension from canal up sharply-curving gradient to station site completed. Platform constructed.
2010 "Musée Decauville" building completed
2012 Remains of demolished flat converted into station building and platform extended to suit
Purchase of Lister loco no. 7280 from Joe Nemeth (partly restored)
2013 Purchase of Greenbat loco no. 2848 from Steve Currin and John Holmes, who had bought the whole of the Abbey Light Railway stock from the estate of Peter Lowe. With it came a Hudson 4w flat wagon, and a Broomfleet Brickworks p-way trolley.
2014 Donation of a Decauville bogie flat wagon by Armstrong Pumps of Canada, on the closure of their Pearn Works in Manchester
2015 Donation by Andrew Neale of a five metre length of Koppell portable track (4.5kg/m rail) - probably from a horse-drawn Lincolnshire potato railway
